JURORS

Ed Hallahan, MFA from OSU, whose artwork has been exhibited regionally and nationally, is currently included with 2023 YSU Alumni Exhibit at the McDonough Art Museum.  He is also being exhibited at the Fellows Riverside Gardens Outdoor Art Gallery.  Ed has taught art courses at YSU and KSU Salem, and is presently teaching at Penn State Shenango and for The Butler Institute of American Art.  He is also a member of the artist collaborative “Redhand” whose “Mahoning Clothesline”, 2022 – a community engagement work – was staged outdoors at the Women’s Park in Warren.

Jacki Mountan, BFA from OSU, uses fabrics and fibers to create artistic works in both 2D and 3D forms.  Jacki has worked with children in art workshop settings.  Her work has appeared in area venues, including the Trumbull Art Gallery.  She is a member of the International Organization of Lace, and as a member of the local chapter (“Lacers of the Lake”) has participated in educating others about Lace.  Jacki curated a Trumbull Art Gallery “Legacy of Lace” exhibit in 2022, showcasing traditional and contemporary lace.

Ed and Jacki work collaboratively in 2D, 3D and room installations.  Their work has been exhibited regionally and nationally.  A selection of their work can be viewed presently at the Nissen Art Gallery in the Steward Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren.
