Art Collection
As of April, 2019, The art work on display at the Trumbull Regional Medical Center, Hillside Hospital and Elm Road Medical Center have become the Trumbull Art Gallery's collection to be held in trust for our community. Tag has been involved in the development of the collection from its inception in the early 1990s.
Marianne Nissen and Frannie Burns, both TAG Board Members and volunteers, began the collection in order to infuse the visual arts into the healthcare system and to provide patients, vistors and staff a positive and less stressful environment in which to work and experience healthcare.
TAG works with the hospital to maintain the collection and curate the art to meet the needs of the hospital and provide the community a first-class visual arts experience.
